2024 Jail Management Conference

The Jail Management Conference will provide intensive training to sheriffs, jail administrators and jail supervisory personnel on management techniques to improve the operational effectiveness of the jail. In addition, this conference presents networking opportunities with jail managers across the state. Tentative training topics include: developing defensible policy and procedures, mental health issues in the jail setting, regional networking and more.

Room Rate & Reservations: The room rate is $99 per night.  This rate is ONLY available to Sheriff’s Office staff.

The room rate is $99 + tax nightly (single or double occupancy) and there is no charge for parking.  All room rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes and fees (these fees are subject to change at the discretion of the state) and $5 state hotel-motel fee per night.

NOTE: To claim tax-exempt status, provide a tax-exempt form (1) one week prior to arrival. Forms are to be emailed to gataxforms@greatwolf.com along with the Group name, name of guest(s) and confirmation number.

Calling in your reservation is the only option to receive the special lodging rate.

Check in is at 4:00 pm; check-out is 11:00 am.

Reservations deadline: January 5, 2024 or until rooms are sold out. Make your reservations early as rooms are limited.
Cancellation Policy: All individual reservations must be accompanied by a one night’s deposit in the form of a check or credit card. If you cancel within 72 hours prior to arrival, the deposit becomes non-refundable.

  • Registration: Monday, February 5, 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm at the Registration Booth and Tuesday, February 6, 7:30 am – 8:30 am at the Registration Booth
  • Training begins at 8:30 am on Tuesday, February 6 and concludes Thursday, February 8 at 12:30 pm.
  • The vendor show is scheduled during the afternoon of Tuesday, February 6.
  • A confirmation email will provide details of the schedule/events.
  • Certified jailers/deputies will receive a minimum of 15 hours P.O.S.T. credit based on 100% attendance of the conference.
$375.00 Registration Fee

Registration Fee: $375 {Non-refundable after January 24, 2024}

  • You must pre-register by completing the online registration form below.
  • Any staff member who attends must also complete registration online and pay the registration fee.
  • Registration Deadline: January 29, 2024.
  • The registration confirmation email is sent to the email address in the Individual Completing this Form field only. Therefore, if you are NOT the attendee please forward a copy of the registration confirmation email to the attendee.
  • Registration fees are non-refundable for cancellations made 10 days or less prior to the starting date of the training event.
