This 14-hour course will cover the sex offender laws and basic registration & enforcement procedures.

This year's 11-hour court security seminar will focus on the updated standards for Court Security and judicial protection.
The training will provide a working knowledge of civil process to include writs, summons, ejectment, procedures, and other court orders. Advanced topics will also include, Fifa’s, garnishments, etc. Each student will receive a copy of the Georgia Sheriffs’ Association Civil Process Manual as part of this training.
Pursuant to the Georgia Open Records Law, all state, county, and municipal records, except those specifically exempted from being open to inspection by the general public, shall be open for a personal inspection by any citizen of this state at a reasonable time and place.
This 14-hour class will provide an overview of four areas pertinent to managing a safe and secure jail to include: jail standards, jail policy, strip searches and classification.
